Dr. Deborah Kennedy is Professor of English at Saint Mary's University. She specializes in Restoration and Eighteenth-Century Literature and has published extensively on a variety of topics, including the English poetic tradition; women's literary history; eighteenth-century art; the French Revolution; and the poetry of William Wordsworth. She is the author of the book Helen Maria Williams and the Age of Revolution, and has recently published Poetic Sisters: Early Eighteenth-Century Women Poets.
