·      ENGL 4485 Victorian Literature – Advanced Study and ENGL 4555/6 Honours Seminar.

(The topics of these advanced courses vary from year to year.  The following are examples of topics I have either taught recently or plan to teach in the future: Victorian Autobiography; The Gentleman in the Victorian Novel; Masculinity in Victorian Literature; The Brontė Novels; Politics and the British Novel from Austen to Forster; The British Novel 1945-1970.)
