Mohammad M. Rahaman is an Associate Professor of Finance (with tenure) at the Sobey School of Business of Saint Mary’s University.  He received his Ph.D in Economics and Finance from the University of Toronto, Canada, and MPhil from the University of Cambridge, U.K. His research interests are mainly in empirical corporate finance, corporate governance and financial market development. Dr. Rahaman taught various courses related to finance and managerial economics at the Rotman Commerce Program and the Department of Economics including Business Finance, a core finance course at Rotman Commerce Program, Microeconomic Theory, and Managerial Economics. At the Sobey School, he teaches Financial Management, International Banking & Finance, and   Special Topics and Research Methods in the MBA and Master of Finance (MFin) programs.
