SUMMARY OF RESEARCH INTERESTS

Igneous petrology, mineralogy and geochemistry, particularly of the Aegean region (Greece) and Nova Scotia. Present work includes: evolution of Cenozoic extensional magmatism of the Aegean; Triassic-Jurassic volcanism of the Hellenides; geochemical and tectonic evolution of A-type granites and associated late Devonian-early Carboniferous volcanic rocks of the Cobequid Highlands, Nova Scotia; magmatism on the northeastern American passive continental margin; zeolites of the North Mountain Basalt, Nova Scotia; and detrital petrology of petroleum systems in Nova Scotia.
